The Thule Allax XL is built for the breeds that need real room — German Shepherds, Boxers, large working dogs, and any dog that has been cramped in a "large" crate and never quite fit comfortably.

Every safety feature that defines the Allax is present here at full scale: a built-in crumple zone with controlled compression on rear impact, TÜV SÜD third-party crash certification, front and rear impact testing, simulated rollover testing, and an emergency removable back panel for first-responder access if the cargo door is blocked after an accident. These aren't optional upgrades. They're standard on every single Allax, regardless of size.

The XL also features the same aluminum frame, gas-dampened door, built-in lock, and adjustable depth as the rest of the lineup — meaning you can fine-tune the fit to your specific cargo area and keep the crate from shifting while driving. At this size, proper tension band installation matters even more, and if you're picking up locally I'll make sure everything is installed correctly before you leave.

This is the largest single-dog Allax available in the US market. If your dog's wither height exceeds 25.6 inches, reach out before ordering — there may be a better option depending on your vehicle and breed.
