I've been a professional dog trainer since 2010. In that time I've worked with hundreds of dogs and owners across every discipline — sport, travel, everyday life. And the one thing that never changes is how much gear matters.
Not in a gear-head way. In a practical way. The right setup means your dog is safer, more comfortable, and easier to manage. The wrong setup means frustration, wasted money, and sometimes a real safety problem.
I built A Dog's Life Inc. because I wanted a shop that approached gear the same way I approach training — with real experience, no fluff, and your dog's wellbeing as the only metric that matters.
We're Starting Small on Purpose.
This isn't a warehouse with thousands of SKUs and an algorithm deciding what shows up first. We're building this shop the slow way — adding products as we find ones we actually believe in, from brands that meet a standard we'd hold our own gear to.
Everything here has been vetted. Not by a buying committee, but by someone who's spent 15 years watching gear perform and fail in the real world. If it made it onto this site, it earned its spot.
As we grow, we'll keep adding gear. But we'll never add something just to fill a category. Your dog deserves better than that — and so does your money.
